Durante la mañana del domingo, un joven de 26 años fue rescatado por la Comisaría de Puerto Tirol, quienes lo redujeron arriba de un tanque que se encontraba a 30 metros de altura, para que luego la Sección Salvamento pueda descenderlo por medio de arnés y equipo de protección.
Ocurrió ayer por la mañana cuando personal de la Sección de Salvamento pertenecientes al Departamento Bomberos, fueron alertados de que una persona estaría arriba de un tanque a unos 30 metros de altura aproximadamente ubicado en un barrio de la localidad de Puerto Tirol con aparente intenciones de atentar contra su vida.
Una vez obtenida esta información, solo les llevó minutos estar presentes en el lugar, constatando la veracidad de lo ocurrido, tratándose de un joven de 26 años, al cual con la colaboración de la Comisaría de Puerto Tirol, quienes tendrían reducido al ciudadano. Como este aún se mostraba nervioso y exaltado, intervino un enfermero para suministrarle un sedante así logrando cesar su accionar.
Finalmente, el joven ya se encontraba bajo los efectos del sedante, por lo que el personal policial capacitado para realizar la técnica de rescate, le colocó arnés integral y equipo de protección necesario para realizar las maniobras, logrando así resguardar la vida de esta persona bajándolo del lugar, para ser recibido por su madre, quien acompañó al ciudadano en ambulancia hasta nosocomio local encontrándose ya fuera de peligro.
